Joanna Webb

I’m the owner/manager of Vanity Beauty Academy.  I’ve spent the last 11 years in the beauty industry, treating clients and educating students in my salons since 2004. 

I firmly believe continued professional development is essential in order to keep up to date in this dynamic industry.  With the support of my academy students can acquire industry recognized skills to achieve success in their chosen career.  

My second passion is journalism and I’ve written for a range of publications.  I also work as a session nail technician; recent clients have included Jennifer Lopez, Vivienne Westwood (London Fashion Week) and Vogue.

Sarah Kiddie

My name is Sarah I am the full time beautician at the Vanity Beauty Academy. I have been doing nails and treatments etc for the past 4 years. My favourite treatment to do is Eyelash Extensions, I love to see the outcome once they are finished and to see how happy my clients are once they have longer or fuller looking eyelashes.

Alana Thomas

I trained at North Herts college in 2004. From there I went onto to work in salons and freelance which gave me a greater knowledge of the industry and techniques. My training through the years has included Jessica nails, Calgel, Mani Q, Germaine De Cappicini, Dermalogica to name a few.

I have worked with Revlon at their monthly nail bars providing nail treatments on the british beauty press and at their PR event for Britain's Next Top Model.

Angie Parry

My name is Angie and I am very excited to be a part of the team at Vanity Beauty Academy.

I am qualified in both normal and luxury manicure and pedicure also Gel nails and the wonderful Artistic Gloss Gel Polish, which I truly believe is a fantastic and most innovative product in the world of nails, especially for natural nail care.

I am also fully qualified in spray tanning and will be expanding my treatment menu in the near future with ongoing training.

Nicola Storton

Hi my name is Nikki I am an apprentice at vanity beauty acadamy I am trained in manicures, pedicures, artistic gel and spray tanning. More treatments coming soon.

Jo Hamilton

Jo Hamilton has been a Make-Up Artist for 4 years, graduating from London College of Fashion. She has professional experience in Weddings, Commercials and Fashion. Working with clients such as Vogue, Tatler , The Sunday Times, Agent Provocateur, Lynx and Dove. Jo uses top brands of make-up such as Mac, Chanel, Bobbi Brown and Nars. You will be made to look gorgeous for any occasion!

Manisha Nagar

I have been working in the beauty industry for the last 15 years, initially working in the UK and then in South Africa.   For the last five years I have been working independently and for ACULIGHT IPL COSMETIC CLINIC  in Luton where I have enjoyed working with the famous Regenlite laser and the Chromolite ipl machine, as well as microdermabrasion and chemical peels.  The main treatments I have been focusing on are hair removal, skin rejuvenation and acne treatments.

I love to make a difference to the way my clients feel about themselves and empower them with the confidence about their appearances.

Katie Carter

Hi my name is Katie and I am an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner specially trained in a range of non surgical treatments and have over 7 years experience in Aesthetics. I qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1993 and worked on various Medical and Dermatology Units. Before working independently, I managed clinics in Sheffield and Nottingham for the UK's largest provider of surgical and non surgical treatments.
I look forward to meeting you to discuss a range of treatments including wrinkle softening, dermal fillers and chemical peels to best suit your needs.

Sonia Sharman

Sonia Sharman has worked in the beauty business for over 25years.  She worked in a top central London salon before working as a freelance London make-up artist to many celebrities.

For the past 10 years Sonia has specialised in permanent cosmetic make-up; a natural looking procedure in which colour pigments are implanted into the skin to define eyebrows, eyes and lips.

After an initial discussion, Sonia blends pigments to complement her client’s skin and hair tones and draws on the finished effect to ensure the client’s approval before treatment begins.

Sonia keeps her prices affordable which ensures everyone can benefit from a first class treatment.
